International Art Textile Biennale 2023

The Internationa Art Textile Biennale 2023 is a curated exhibiton of Textile Art coordinated by Glenys Mann from Fibre Arts Australia. I am honoured to have a quilt juried into this exhibition. It has been travelling throughout Australia commencing at Bairnsdale Vic, to Emu Park at Yeppoon Qld, currently in Toowoomba Qld and then to Kyogle NSW, Hobart TAS, Darlinghurst NSW, Geelong VIC, then finally Lobethal SA ending in July 2024. My quilt listed in the catalogue sold last week and another quilt of mine is joining the tour from Kyogle onwards. The pieces in the exhibition cover a wide range of textile art (not just quiltmaking) and if you ever get a chance to, attend a Fibre Arts workshop. You will work hard whilst enjoying yourself.

Both made from batik fabrics with the addition of small amounts of organza for some transparent fabrics.
