FAQ's
What is the standard cut?
The default minimum size we will cut is a Fat quarter. [50 cm x 55 cm] 1 unit. Price displayed is the cost of 1 Quarter of a Meter. Multiply by 4 for the Meter Price etc.
2 units = 0.5M
3 units =0.75M
4 units =1M
5 units = 1.25M
6 units = 1.5M
7 units = 1.75M
8 units = 2M
If you need a greater length, multiply by 4 to calculate the number of units you require.
Where possible we cut in one continuous length from the bolt.
If for some reason we can't supply in one length we will ask if it is possible to send in two lengths.
Sometime we will offer fabric in set lengths [ .50 or 1 meter ] these will not be changed.
If your pattern requires .25cm strip across fabric this can be cut. Contact us via email/text or phone. For all other variances on cuts please just ask, and we can see what we can do for you.
Do you have a loyalty program?
Yes, we do! We have configured our loyalty program to best suit our customers. With every 5th order over $20 spend you will receive a personalised discount code for 5% off your 6th order, and with every 10th order over $20 spend you will receive a personalised discount code for 10% off your 11th order, these are valid for 6 months from the date of the 5th and 10th orders respectively. This will apply to further orders eg. 15th and 20th.
Do you have Free Shipping?
No, we don't. Why? We feel free shipping eg. orders over $150 would benefit few of our customers and most would be disadvantaged as unit prices would need to rise to cover shipping costs. Multiply this out across an order and the "free ship " savings on postage has been eroded by the higher fabric costs, and quite often costs you more than if you paid the lesser fabric cost and exact postage. eg. We have seen the same fabric we sell listed on a free shipping site for $4/m more than our price. Multiply this out and if you don't meet the free shipping mark, you have paid more than if you purchased here and paid the actual postage. We have kept our postage charges to the minimum Auspost cost and in some cases it is less than the actual Auspost cost. We have also added new tracked postage for smaller quantities up to 2 meters. Many of our customers prefer to purchase smaller quantities as their budgets and needs arise. Our checkout gives you choices of postage for your orders. If free shipping was offered, Express postage would not be offered.
For customers who do spend over $150 we will be including a Fat Quarter from a bonus fabric currently not available for retail. Spend over $300 the amount will be 0.5M etc. This fabric will be on the Home Page for each month for you to view but not be able to purchase.
Why do I sometimes get a postage refund on un tracked envelopes? For orders sent in untracked envelopes (1.25-2 meters) the rates change by weight at 250 grams. Sometimes the envelope is just under the weight and sometimes just over. It is better to refund the excess postage than be underpaid.
